At the Chuzhou Huangju health garden in yepingtou natural village, Gaoshan village, Yanquan street, Liandu District, more than 200 mu of Huangju are growing well. More than a dozen farmers are weeding, pouring footpaths and building landscape doors. Villager Wang Xiaorong said that this is a 50000 yuan project invested by Huangju base to facilitate tourists' viewing when Huangju is in full bloom.
Yepingtou village, more than 300 meters above sea level, is located in a remote area, with serious barren mountains and poor production and living conditions for farmers.
Last year, Liandu District introduced Huangju planting and processing project. Huangju needs to work from planting, management, harvesting, processing and other links, and the villagers naturally become the "workers" of the company. Villagers said that Huangju base has become a "cornucopia". At present, more than 30 villagers left in the village are working in the health garden.
Jin Guangen, head of Lishui Xuande Huangju Development Co., Ltd., said that the salary paid to villagers last year alone reached 630000 yuan. Due to the shortage of chrysanthemums, the company has expanded its planting area this year. Huangju health garden has attracted many tourists, provided opportunities for villagers to set up farmhouses and sell agricultural products, and increased the income of local farmers.
